Shine Kogei handles contract processing of polyurea coatings. "Polyurea coating" refers to a processing method that forms a film by spraying polyurea resin onto the target object. Polyurea resin is a compound primarily composed of urea bonds, generated by the chemical reaction between isocyanates and polyamines. Polyurea coatings have extremely high abrasion resistance and impact resistance. For civil engineering and construction materials used under harsh conditions, the following examples of polyurea applications can be envisioned: 1) Providing abrasion resistance to resin pipes and sheets exposed to the outside ⇒ Protects the substrate from rainwater and sediment. It also has a function to protect against degradation from ultraviolet rays. 2) Providing abrasion resistance to materials that heavy machinery and construction equipment pass over ⇒ Even when a caterpillar (continuous track) passes over the polyurea coating, the film endures the load. Additionally, it has a slip resistance effect, contributing to improved safety.
